My dear friend Suzi celebrated her 50th birthday this past week. Doesn't she look beautiful! Her "do-rag" is her signature card now; she has lost a good protion of her beautiful hair, due to the chemo and radiation treatments she has gone through these past few months. Altho she has had to slow down a bit and uses a wheel chair to get most places, Suzi is still Suzi! She is fun and happy and loves life. Several of us got together and created a scrapbook of wonderful memories for her. It was so much fun finding those pictures and putting our creative touch to the pages. She loved the book and we loved seeing her dwell on each page, remembering the event and great times we had all shared.
Suzi has a long road ahead of her as she battles this cancer - but she is a fighter and I expect great things for her. She loves the Lord and knows He is fighting this battle with her. I praise Him for her attitude and the strength He has given not only Suzi, but Elizabeth and her family as they are fighting the battle with her.
We love you Suzi-Q! Happy 50th Birthday!
