Valentine's Day

No flowers or cards. Just time together. That's what we wanted this year. And that's what we got. We went to church on Saturday night, so Valentine's Day - which fell on Sunday - was perfect. We slept in then headed to our favorite breakfast place - Taco Cabana.

Next we hit Sam's where we picked up some groceries and left some photos to be developed.


We headed home for a bit and watched some recorded TV we had missed during the week.

Then it was a date at the movies. Of course we saw "Valentine's Day"!
We enjoyed dinner at Rome's Pizza where we got our favorite pizza and cheesy garlic bread. We didn't have to wait to be seated or be in a noisy restaurant where we couldn't even hear each other talk. It was nice and cozy inside, and freezing outside, as the cold front had made it's way back to San Antonio! I had on sandals and a light jacket - not anticipating the change of weather!It was a great day and I was glad to be able to spend it with the love of my life!
