Graduation and Goodbye's

Hoorah! Taylor graduated from Pre-Kinder and is well on his way to public school kindergarden! After last year it was touch and go - but he made it through with flying colors! We are proud of him. He'll start Leon Valley Elementary School in the fall and he'll have his sister, Ashton, there at to show him the ropes! She is excited, too, because she leaves for CBC Children's Camp on Saturday. This is her second year to go to camp and she was ready to go several days in advance.

Gigi went to Taylor's graduation and enjoyed seeing all the kiddos do "their thing" and walk across the stage to receive their diploma's.

Madi leaves for Chicago to visit her dad and family for a whole month. We all got together and celebrated the "End of Year' at Timbo's, a great hamburger place near the new section of the riverwalk. Madi, Allison and GB - her grandmother Betty (Allison's mom).
Austin was excited about the end of school as well - funny how boys are just ready for it to be over! GB presented him with a great book for the summer. Austin loves this kind of book and is a "sponge" when it comes to learning new things. He will probably be an inventor or creative director. He is one great kid!

Greta, the German foreign exchange student that has lived with Jason and Allison all year is headed back to her home. It had been a year of excitement and we all hated to see her go - but I know she was ready to get back home with her family and friends. Watch out, Germany - the Henning's would love to visit your country - and expecially now that we KNOW someone! We'll miss you Greta.
It's official - school's out and summer is here - even Ditto is excited about the lazy, crazy, days of summer... maybe I'll make more time to blog... watch out... it could happen!

Hi Cuz, Thanks for visiting my blog page. I really like your page. You're a great communicator! I take a back seat when it comes to staying in touch. But wanted to use my blog to do just that. Can you send me aunt Lavern's current address. I tried to send her a condolence card to her at the assisted living center I hope she got it. Thanks. Jim
